Resumé
School
I went to school first in the Netherlands (Coornhert Gymnasium and RSG in Gouda), then did my "O"- and "A" levels in the UK (Hurtwood House
private residential school in Holmbury St. Mary, Surrey).
From 1977 to 1980, I read Electronic Engineering at the University of London, UK, and I obtained the degree of BSc(Eng). The degree course
included Analog and Digital Circuit Analysis and Design, Nuclear Physics, Computer Science, Cybernetics, Mathematics, and Assembler, Basic
and Fortran programming. The lasting value of this education, of course, is not the technology, but the fact that I understand engineering
principles, and especially, the scientific method. Clear thinking is useful in life in general, not just in technology.
Business experience
