Canada

I started travelling frequently to Canada in 1985; I moved and became a landed immigrant in 1995, and a citizen in 2005.

Alberta, Rockies I established Ixonet Marketing Technology Inc. in Oakville, Ontario, from October 1995. In January 1997, I joined KL Group in downtown Toronto. In 2000, I set up Digital View's Canadian operation and I have managed it ever since.

The photo: the Canadian rockies, Alberta, 1985. Every time I am in Calgary, it's the coldest winter they've had for years. A Chinook invariably follows my departure.

Canada has regularly been the UN's number one country to live in. It's an easy place to live. Although it is rather nationalistic and protectionist, and Canadians like big government (someone once described this country as "the land of licenses"), overall I tend to agree with the UN.
