KoreaI visited Seoul in December, 1998.

Oddly, in many ways Seoul was the least Asian of all the Asian cities I
have seen. Modern Seoul reminded me of Rotterdam. One fact that stands
out: The Korean people still have a love-hate relationship with Japan.
