Spain

In 1982, I commissioned the new telephone switching system at Renault headquarters in Madrid.

El Escorial I performed cutover and gained customer acceptance after three months, as planned.

On the way, I also picked up some Spanish, which was to come in handy in Mexico, some years later.

Like other Latins, the Spanish really love life. Eating tapas and drinking red wine all night, and then having dinner at 10 PM, is what life should be. (How they do it and get up for work the next morning is less clear, though.)
